And that is all I was suggesting. I am aware that some users may prefer the Win32 look. Maybe a lot prefer it. I see nothing wrong with looking into it or even making it the default. But I like setting my own styles. It would be very nice if there were a very full-featured cross-platform GUI so everything could be created to look the same on both platforms. I understand wxWindows might fit that bill, but I have not programmed using it. I have also heard of efforts to use XML descriptions of GUIs, but I do not know of a cross-platform one and I think it might be tough for something like Ethereal. I have also heard rumors of creating cross-OS GUIs using Java to create a GUI that then calls C functions to do the work.
